Adissions Arrangements 2025-2026
The School admissions number for the school year 2023/2024 is 45 part time places in Nursery. Part time places in our Nursery will be available at 3 points this year. Your child can join our school for 15 hours free nursery education from the term after their 3rd birthday. The sessions offered will be 8:50am - 11:45AM, Mon-Fri.
We also offer free 30 hours provision. This allows your child to remain in school for the afternoon session 12:15-15:15, Mon-Fri.
How it will run here at our school
Our current sessions are:
AM - 8:50am-11:45am (15 hours free provision plus flexible arrival)
PM - 12.15pm -3:15pm (15 hours for those who are entitled to 30 hours or who wish to pay)
If you access the 30 hour entitlement here at Oxhey First School, then you would have 2 options over the lunch time period. They are;
Option 1: You can pay for a school lunch for your child at a cost of £2.83 (from 8th April 2024 this will increase to £2.95)
Option 2: You can send your child in with a packed lunch from home. There is no charge for this provision at the present time.
If you are not eligible for the 30 hour entitlement but want to access some sessions beyond the universal 15 hrs, please let us know so that we can try and accommodate your needs. Obviously there will be a cost. Our charges are £14.58per session (from 8th April 2024 this will increase to £15.24).
If you also require after school care the costs are as follows:
3.15 p.m. – 4.30p.m. £3.85
3.15 p.m. - 6.00p.m. £8.20
Full Day £12.00
